Cookie Policy

Effective Date: 23 March 2026

1. What Are Cookies?

Cookies are small text files placed on your device by websites you visit. They are widely used to make websites function, work more efficiently, and provide information to site owners. Cookies may be set by the website you are visiting ("first-party cookies") or by third parties ("third-party cookies").

2. How We Use Cookies

Our website is hosted on Wix. We use only cookies that are strictly necessary for the website to function correctly. We do not use analytics cookies, advertising cookies, or any form of cross-site tracking.

Strictly necessary cookies

These cookies are essential for the operation of our website. They enable core functionality such as:

  • Keeping you logged in during your browsing session

  • Maintaining items in your shopping cart

  • Processing secure payments

  • Remembering your cookie consent preferences

These cookies do not require your consent under the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations 2003 (PECR), as they are necessary for the service you have requested.

Third-party cookies

Our payment processors (Klarna and PayPal) may set their own cookies during the checkout process. These are governed by their respective privacy and cookie policies:

3. We Do Not Use

  • Analytics or performance cookies

  • Advertising or targeting cookies

  • Social media tracking cookies

  • Any AI-based profiling or behavioural tracking

4. Managing Cookies

You can control and delete cookies through your browser settings. Most browsers allow you to:

  • View what cookies are stored and delete them individually

  • Block third-party cookies

  • Block all cookies

  • Delete all cookies when you close the browser

Please be aware that blocking strictly necessary cookies may affect the functionality of our website, including the ability to make purchases.

For more information on managing cookies, visit https://www.aboutcookies.org or https://www.allaboutcookies.org.

5. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with a revised effective date.

6. Contact

If you have any questions about our use of cookies, please contact us:

Email: hq@puzzleboat.com

Puzzleboat Ltd
Company Number: SC770526
1103 The Hidden Lane
G3 8ND Glasgow
United Kingdom

Both policies are ready to copy and paste into Wix as separate pages. Key compliance notes:

  • Since you serve UK customers only, these are built around UK GDPR (not EU GDPR), the Data Protection Act 2018, and recent amendments via the Data Use and Access Act 2025

  • Cookie policy reflects that you only use strictly necessary cookies, which don't require consent under PECR — but Wix may still show a cookie banner; that's fine

  • The old privacy@motherpuzzler.com reference has been replaced with hq@puzzleboat.com throughout

  • Registered address updated to 1103 The Hidden Lane, G3 8ND Glasgow
